Linux time command 출력값 파일로 저장하는 방법

쉘에서 time dig naver.com했을 때 출력되는 값 이것을 저장하고 싶을 때,

real    0m0.012s
user    0m0.000s
sys     0m0.004s

( time dig naver.com ) 2> /tmp/output.txt

만약 위에 명령어가 실패하면

{ time dig naver.com ; } 2> /tmp/output.txt

※ 2> 붙여주어야 한다.
    2 > 띄우면 -bash: syntax error near unexpected token `2' 라는 에러가 출력이 된다.
